Domestic Violence Shelters (2)

Emergency shelter is available for people fleeing domestic violence and not having a safe place to stay.  Survivors and their children can stay for up to 90 days in our agency’s safe dwelling. Supportive services are available, including planning and connections to resources needed to find safe housing.  Shelter residents are eligible for counseling, transportation, legal advocacy, and childcare services.  

9 shelters are available in the following counties:

  • Schoharie
  • Montgomery
  • Herkimer (Rapid Rehousing also available)
  • Warren
