Catholic Charities Tri-County Services offers a wide range of essential services designed to meet the diverse needs of individuals and families across Albany, Rensselaer, and Schenectady counties. Our programs support people of all ages, from infants to seniors. Helping individuals access essential human needs such as food, shelter, and safety is at the heart of our mission, as we empower them to grow, thrive, and reach their fullest potential.

Programs include:
- Aging Life Services- The program connects older adults residing in Schenectady
County with services to feel safe and confident living at home, and provides
assistance with accessing aging-related services, including non-medical needs
such as grocery shopping, light housekeeping, friendly visits, and transportation
to doctor’s appointments.

for ages 5–10, located on Snyder’s Lake in Rensselaer County. Camp Scully
fosters recreation and socialization for youth throughout the summer.

The program offers healthy food and individualized nutrition education to help manage chronic health conditions using a ‘food as medicine’ approach.

Phone: 518-966-7380 - Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program- The program protects the health, safety, welfare, human, and civil rights of people living in nursing homes, adult care facilities, and family type homes. Trained, state-certified volunteers and staff Ombudsman visit nursing homes, adult care facilities, and family type homes to advocate for improved care and quality-of-life for residents by investigating complaints or concerns expressed and working cooperatively with facilities to resolve issues on residents' behalf.

Phone: 518-688-0051 | Fax: 518-372-5686 - Nutrition Outreach and Education Program (NOEP) Schenectady- This program offers free, confidential, one-to-one services to help food insecure residents within Schenectady County get nutrition assistance with SNAP. Our NOEP Coordinator helps program applicants complete and submit their SNAP (food stamp) application, works with local government offices to ensure that each application is processed correctly, and refers those in need to other community resources as appropriate.
