The Catholic Charities Housing Office (CCHO) provides affordable housing and comprehensive services for individuals and families facing homelessness. Our programs are focused on delivering long-term, stable housing solutions designed to address the unique needs of individuals and families experiencing housing instability.

The programs and services available from CCHO include the following:
- Affordable Family Housing- Located in Albany and Rensselaer counties and
targeted to households that have income below 60 percent of the area medium
income (AMI). Preference is given to veteran households. - Family Apartment Programs- This program offers a range of more than 20
scattered-site apartments, presenting permanent and cost-effective housing
solutions. Several apartments are designated for homeless families and include
case management services, while others simply offer a low-cost housing option
without additional supports. - Single Room Occupancy (SRO) Residences- Single Room Occupancy (SRO) Residences throughout the Capital Region that offer permanent housing for those who are homeless and in need of low-cost housing with supportive services. Services include case management, meal programs, information, and referrals.
