Food Insecurity & Nutrition

Programs

At Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany, we believe access to nourishing food is a fundamental right and a cornerstone of human dignity. Our Food Insecurity & Nutrition programs provide compassionate, comprehensive support—from emergency food pantries and community meals, to nutritional education and fresh produce initiatives like the Albany Food Farmacy. We serve youth, families, and older adults by addressing immediate hunger while building long-term food security and health, ensuring no one in our community has to face an empty plate alone.
